In the search results, check the box next to the application name that you want to add to the inventory and then click Add to
Inventory. The selected application is added to the Mobile/Edge Gateway Snappy Inventory. If the selected application is already
listed in the inventory, then an error message is displayed.
You can remove any application from the inventory by selecting the application and clicking Remove Apps tab.
Managing Edge Gateway/Embedded PC
The Embedded PC inventory page allows you to quickly view and manage the application inventory for your Embedded PC device. To
manage Embedded PC Inventory:
1 Follow the instructions specied on the page to add application to the Embedded PC Inventory.
2 After an application is added to the inventory, the application is listed on the page. The following application related attributes are
displayed.

Size
Date Added
Status
Managing Edge Gateway – Snappy Policy
The Edge Gateway – Snappy Policy page allows you to quickly view and manage the application policies for the applications on your Edge
Gateway snappy device. To manage Edge Snappy Policies:
1 Click the Apps and Data tab on the EDM portal.
2 Click Edge Gateway - Snappy in the navigation menu on the left pane of the window.
3 The Edge Gateway - Snappy Policies page with the overview of the information about the applications on your device is displayed.
4 Click Add Policy to add a policy to the inventory. The Add Edge Gateway – Snappy App Policy page is displayed. The following options
are displayed on the page:
Policy Name – Enter the name of the policy to be added.
Group – From the drop-down list, select the group to which the policy has to be added.
Snappy App – Select the le to be added.
Task – Select the option from the drop-down list to install or uninstall an application.

NOTE
: App should be added in to the inventory before creating the policy. Snappy apps are added from the Canonical
store.
5 Click on Save to save the conguration.
The selected conguration is applied to the application.
Managing Edge Gateway/Embedded PC Policy
The Edge Gateway/Embedded PC Policies page allows you to quickly view and manage the application policies for the applications on your
Edge Gateway — Windows and Embedded PC – Windows/Ubuntu devices. To manage Edge Gateway/Embedded PC Policies:
1 Click the Apps & Data tab on the Dell Management Portal.
2 Click Edge Gateway/Embedded PC in the navigation menu on the left pane of the window. The Edge Gateway/Embedded PC Policy
page with the overview of the information about the applications on your device is displayed.
3 Click Add Policy to add a policy to the inventory. The Add Edge Gateway/Embedded PC Policy page is displayed. The following
options are displayed on the page:
a Policy Name— Enter the name of the policy to be added.
b Group— From the drop-down list, select the group to which the policy has to be added.
c Task— From the drop-down list, select your preferred windows application.
