Managing Devices
This section describes how to perform routine Device management tasks in the management console. Device Management include the
following:
• Inventory of devices can be located by clicking Devices tab. By default, this shows a the sequence of the devices, at list of all the
devices in the system. You may choose to view a subset of the devices using a variety of lter criteria, such as Groups or subgroups,
device type OS type, status, subnet, platform or time zone.
• Clicking the device entry listed on this page navigates to the Device Details page for that device. This shows a variety of detailed
information for that device.
• The Device Details page also shows all the conguration parameters that apply to that device, and also the group level at which each
parameter took eect.
• This section also enables the set conguration parameters that are specic to that device. Parameters congured in this section
overrides any parameters that were congured at the Groups and/or global level.

For better and faster management of devices, you can select the devices of your choice based on the following ltering options.
• Under the Conguration Groups drop-down list, you can select either default policy group or the groups which are added by an
administrator.
• Under the Status drop-down list, you can select any of the following options:
• Registration:
• Registered
• Not Registered
• Online Status:
• Online
• Oine
• Unknown
• Others:
