4 Click Save to make the changes.
Removing a Group
As an administrator you can remove a group from the group hierarchy.
To remove a group complete the following steps:
1 In the Groups page, click Remove Group icon under the Group Tree Hierarchy.
A warning message is displayed saying this action removes the group(s) from the group tree hierarchy.
NOTE: All devices include in the removing group gets moved to the selected target group. Quarantine group is intended
for group based registration devices. If Quarantine group is selected as the destination group when removing a custom
group, UI will ask for the second destination group to move users and mobile devices to.
2 Click Remove Group.
Unmanaged Group
Devices that belong to unmanaged group do not use license or receive conguration or application policies. To add devices to the
Unmanaged group you can use the Unmanaged group device registration key as part of the auto registration or manual device registration.
No policies or congurations are applied to devices in the Unmanaged group.
NOTE:
In previous versions of the product, Unmanaged Group was called as Quarantine Group.
To congure the Unmanaged group, do the following:
Click the edit group option to edit the Unmanaged group. The Editing Unmanaged Group page is displayed.
The following options are displayed on the page:
Group Name — Displays the name of the group.
Description — Displays a brief description of the group.
Group Token — Select this option to enable group token.
Click Save to save the conguration.
NOTE
:
For Public Cloud, the Group Token for Unmanaged Group must be enabled to register devices to it. For Private Cloud, the Group Token
for Unmanaged Group is automatically enabled.
