Central conguration
Use this page to specify a le server where the thin client checks for conguration and image updates.
NOTE: In case of any conict between the parameters congured in the Wyse Management Suite interface and the local INI
parameters, the value dened in the local INI parameter is considered.

Parameter Description
File Server or Path In the File Server or Path box, provide the full path that contains
the wnos folder.
NOTE: Supported protocols include ftp, http, and https.
Ftp is assumed if no protocol is dened.
User Enter the user name to access the le server.
Password Enter the password to access the le server.
Other settings
Use this page to congure the thin client settings, such as default sign on credentials, time servers, and time zone.

Parameter Description
Default Sign-on Username In the Default Sign-on Username box, provide the default user
name for local sign-on screen.
Default Sign-on Password In the Default Sign-on Password box, provide the default
password for local sign-on screen.
Default Sign-on Domain In the Default Sign-on Domain box, provide the default domain for
local sign-on screen.
Remember previous username To remember the user name that was registered earlier, enable this
option. Select any one of the following options based on your
choice:
No
Yes, both user name and domain
User name only
Domain only
Show name of last user on login screen Select this check box if you want the name of the last user to be
displayed on the Login screen.
Time Servers To synchronize the local time, select this option.
Manually Set TimeZone Overrides the system preference menu of the device with time
zone setting.
From the TimeZone drop-down menu, select the appropriate
time zone.
From the Enable Daylight Savings drop-down menu, select any
one of the following options based on your preference:
