Release type and denition

Edge Device Manager (EDM) is a management solution for Edge Gateway devices and Embedded PCs. EDM oers advanced features

such as, public versus private cloud deployment, manage-from-anywhere using a mobile application. Features such as device discovery,

registration, asset and inventory management, real-time applications deployment, monitoring reporting, and troubleshooting are part of

EDM.

New features

The features in this release are:

• Support for Ubuntu Server v18.04 with Edge Gateway 3000 devices.

• Ubuntu platform is added in the Groups & Congs and Apps & Data tabs.

• Support to enable or disable application updates using the Auto pilot option for devices with Ubuntu core 16.

• Support to tag single or multiple devices, and lter devices using custom tags.

• Support to accept the Terms and Conditions during rst-time login on a public cloud.

• Ability to import users from Active Directory by searching a specic set of group and users.
