● PXE boot support—Added PXE boot support option in Admin Policy Tool and Wyse Management Suite policy settings
under BIOS option for each platform .
● Allow to change date/time from system bar—Added the option Allow to change date/time from system bar in Admin
Policy Tool and Wyse Management Suite policy settings. You cannot change the date or time using Time on system bar if
this option is disabled. For information about how to change date or time from the system bar, see the Dell Wyse ThinOS 9.1
Administrator's Guide at www.dell.com/support.
● Allow to stop forced reboot/shutdown—Added Allow to stop forced reboot/shutdown in Admin Policy Tool and Wyse
Management Suite policy settings. If this option is disabled, you cannot click Cancel on the reboot/shutdown count window
that is displayed, when all sessions exit.
● Allow system shortcut G key to reset device to factory—Added the option Enable G Key in Admin Policy Tool and Wyse
Management Suite policy settings. This option is enabled by default. To reset ThinOS to factory default settings, press the
G key during system startup until you hear a beep sound. For information about how to use the G key function, see the Dell
Wyse ThinOS 9.1 Administrator's Guide at www.dell.com/support.
● Allow system shortcut R key to enable recovery mode—Added the option Enable R key in the Admin Policy Tool and Wyse
Management Suite policy settings. This option is enabled by default. To remove all the application packages, return the
device to base operating system image, and reset to factory settings, press R key during system startup until you hear a
beep sound. For information about how to use the R key function, see the Dell Wyse ThinOS 9.1 Administrator's Guide at
www.dell.com/support.
● Fast connect seamless window title—The option Fast connect seamless window title in Admin Policy Tool and Wyse
Management Suite policy settings does not work. This option is not supported in ThinOS 9.1.
● Support to set multi audio devices in playback or record device list—Added support for multi audio devices in playback or
record device list, which is separated by ";". For behavior examples, see the Dell Wyse ThinOS 9.1 Administrator's Guide at
www.dell.com/support.
● Wyse Management Suite settings update—You can access the Wyse Management Suite settings option from Advanced >
Services in the Admin Policy Tool or Wyse Management Suite policy settings. Following are the changes in this release:
○ Wyse Management Suite settings default UI—Group prefix and group token are hidden by default.
○ Show Advanced Configuration option enabled:
■ Group token and Group prefix fields are marked mandatory.
■ Server URL field is marked mandatory and the default value is removed.
NOTE:
If you Disable the Show Advanced Configuration option and Enable again, all values from Group prefix,
Group token, and Server URL is cleared.
● New proxy applist value—Added new proxy applist value for proxy settings. You can configure the option from Admin Policy
Tool or Wyse Management Suite policy settings. The newly added value is MTOP. For more information about how to use
proxy applist value, see the Dell Wyse ThinOS 9.1 Administrator's Guide at www.dell.com/support.
● Supports new item for compression—Supports new item Enable Zlib for compression for VNC services in Admin Policy Tool
and Wyse Management Suite policy settings. For more information about how to enable Zlib compression, see the Dell Wyse
ThinOS 9.1 Administrator's Guide at www.dell.com/support.
● Live Update—Changes to Live Update functionality has been made in this release. When the option Enable Live Update is
enabled, the client starts downloading the firmware and package immediately. If disabled, the firmware and package does not
get downloaded until next reboot. The Live Update options can be accessed from Live Update > Advanced > Services >
WDA settings in Admin Policy Tool or Wyse Management Suite policy settings.
Citrix Workspace App features update
● Microsoft Teams enhancements—Added HTTP proxy support for anonymous authentication. Configure HTTP Proxy server
and Proxy Application List as MTOP in Admin Policy Tool or Wyse Management Suite to make Microsoft Teams optimization
function through the proxy server.
● Zoom Optimization enhancements—ThinOS supports Virtual Background feature which enables you to display an image as
your background during a Zoom meeting. This feature works best with a physical green screen and uniform lighting to allow
Zoom to detect the difference between you and your background. For more information, see support.zoom.us.
NOTE:
The virtual background feature is only supported after Zoom account logon to Zoom VDI application. It is not
supported for guest users who does not have a Zoom account.
● Citrix Multiple virtual channel updates—The Citrix virtual channels count limitation has been fixed in Citrix Workspace App
2104. The Citrix Multiple Virtual Channels have been changed to be enabled by default in ThinOS 9.1.3112. From this release,
ThinOS Citrix UC Virtual Channel Settings and Other Citrix Virtual Channels Settings are deprecated which released with
CWA 2104 package. This implies that multiple virtual channels are always enabled in thin client even if you make changes
in the Admin Policy Tool or Wyse Management Suite policy. From the ThinOS 9.1.3112 release onwards, Admin Policy Tool
stops synchronizing with the Citrix Unified Communication Virtual Settings and Other Virtual Channel Settings from
