Important notes
Not all resolutions in the resolution list in Display setup window are supported on different monitors. It depends on the
monitor and the client used.
If there is no existing LPT printer configuration in the Admin Policy Tool when a USB printer is autodetected on the Printer
Setup window, the printer values such as printer name and identification displayed on the Printer Setup window are taken
from the printer that is plugged in. If there is an existing LPT printer configuration in the Admin Policy Tool, the printer
values displayed on the Printer Setup window are taken from the printer configuration in Admin Policy Tool.
Dell Technologies recommends to not use the Enable 3440x1440 resolution function from the Admin Policy Tool on Wyse
3040 Thin Client unless the monitor that you are using has 3440x1440 as the best resolution. Using this resolution can have
some performance issues on Wyse 3040 Thin Client.
Do not plug in and plug out video cables from the thin client frequently as it may cause unexpected graphics errors.
After upgrading the client to ThinOS 9.1, the BIOS secure boot option is enabled by default if the BIOS password is set as
default or if the BIOS has no password. Disable the secure boot option before you downgrade the thin client to ThinOS 8.6
or 9.0 with a merlin image.
You cannot boot into ThinOS 9.1 when you perform the following operations in BIOS setup:
Disable onboard Network Interface Card (NIC), Trusted Platform Module (TPM), or Platform Trust Technology (PTT).
Clear TPM or PTT.
Downgrading ThinOS 9.1 to ThinOS 8.6 or ThinOS 9.0 using Wyse Management Suite is not supported.
To downgrade ThinOS 9.1 to ThinOS 8.6 or ThinOS 9.0, you must clear TPM or PTT in BIOS first. Then use the Dell Wyse
USB Imaging Tool and Merlin images to downgrade.
Refer Citrix multiple virtual channels section, before using Citrix multiple Unified Communication (UC) features.
DHCP and DNS SRV configurations for Wyse Management Suite can only work after you reset your device to factory default
settings.
If you publish WDA settings or Wyse Management Suite settings policies on the Wyse Management Suite server, ensure that
you specify the Group prefix, Group token field, and enable the Show Advanced Configuration option for providing the Wyse
ThinOS 9.1.1131
