The thin client downloads the image and prompts you to start the upgrade process. Click Continue to upgrade your
firmware immediately. Alternatively, you can delay the upgrade process until the next reboot by selecting the Next reboot
option. If no option is selected, the upgrade process starts automatically after 120 seconds.
Upgrade to ThinOS 9.0.4024 from ThinOS 8.6
Use the Wyse Management Suite version 2.1 or later to upgrade your ThinOS 8.6-based thin clients to ThinOS version 9.0.4024.
Dell Technologies recommends that you use Dell Wyse Management Suite for large deployments. You can also use the USB
Imaging Tool version 3.4 to install the ThinOS version 9.0.4024 Merlin image on a single device.
NOTE: You cannot upgrade the ThinOS 8.6 clients with PCoIP as ThinOS version 9.0 does not support PCoIP devices.
For more information about how to upgrade from ThinOS version 8.6 to ThinOS version 9.0, see the Dell Wyse ThinOS Version
9.0 Migration Guide at www.dell.com/support.
NOTE: After you upgrade to ThinOS version 9.0.4024, you cannot use the Wyse Management Suite method to downgrade
to ThinOS version 8.6. Use the USB Imaging Tool method with Merlin images to downgrade to ThinOS version 8.6.
