Release Notes

1. Drag & Drop method :
a. Drag & Drop the package to the device manager.
b. Select the device which needs to be updated and click next.
c. On execution time window Select the radio button Now and click next.
d. Again click next.
e. Click finish
f. Add-ons installation will occur immediately.
g. After successful execution of package, thin client gets updated with new add-on.
2. Default Device Configuration (DDC) method:
a. Select DDC option under configuration manager and right click, and select New and then DDC
b. Under primary definition tab, select operating system as ThinLinux, media size , qualifying OS image and select next
c. Under software package tab, select and add the ICA add-on package, and select next.
d. On execution time window, select time or upon HAgent check-in, and click next
e. Click finish
f. Add-on installation occurs after the next full or partial check-in of HAgent.
g. After successful execution of DDC, thin client gets updated with new add-on.
Method 3 : Installation through INI parameter
a. Copy the add-ons to the root path (wyse)/addons directory.
b. Add ini parameter NewAddons=rpm file name(i.e. for SLED 11 add-on NewAddons= ica-13.5.0.10185126-00.03.sletc11sp3.rpm in
wlx.ini
c. Restart the client.
