Prerequisites

● Ensure that you are using ThinOS 9.0.1136 or later versions.

● Ensure that your thin client is registered to Wyse Management Suite 2.1 or later versions.

● Ensure that you have created a group in Wyse Management Suite with a group token.

● Ensure that you have downloaded the ThinOS v9.0.4024 firmware from www.dell.com/support.

● Ensure that you have removed the Wallpaper settings in Wyse Management Suite ThinOS 9.x policy if you are upgrading to

ThinOS 9.0.4024 from ThinOS 9.0.1136.

NOTE:

Dell Technologies recommends that the Wyse Management Suite administrator removes the old packages on the

managed thin clients and installs the latest package versions in every upgrade cycle.

Steps

1. Log in to Wyse Management Suite.

2. Go to the Groups & Configs page, and select your preferred group.

3. From the Edit Policies drop-down menu, click ThinOS 9.x.

The Configuration Control | ThinOS window is displayed.

4. In the left pane, click Advanced.

5. From the Advanced menu, expand Firmware, and click OS Firmware Updates.

6. Click Browse and select the ThinOS firmware to upload.

7. From the Select the ThinOS Firmware to deploy drop-down menu, select the uploaded firmware.

8. Click Save & Publish.
