Cisco Jabber Softphone for VDI limitations on VMware
If the Blast session is disconnect, the JVDI cannot register. Workaround is to log off Blast session and sign out Horizon.
Video is not displayed at times during video call. Workaround is to turn off and turn on the camera.
When the VDI desktop is minimized, occasionally the video screen on Jabber remains on the ThinOS desktop.
If the VDI desktop is in window mode, the position of the video screen on Jabber is offset.
Video calls in 4k resolution using 4k monitors have performance issues.
If you use a large mouse pointer size during Blast session, the mouse hides automatically when playing a video during video
calls.
If you use several Unified Communications (UC) simultaneously, there can be unexpected errors.
Microsoft Teams on VMware
Microsoft Teams supports only Real Time Audio Video (RTAV) so far, and does not support optimization.
Microsoft Windows Virtual Desktop and Remote Desktop Services
Windows Virtual Desktop
Windows Virtual Desktop (Azure) is a cloud-based desktop and app virtualization service. Windows Virtual Desktop enables
customers to access the Windows Virtual Desktop resources that they created on Azure cloud from the ThinOS client.

Remote Desktop Services
Remote Desktop Services enables a user to connect to a remote device or a virtual machine over a network connection. The
following are the updated features:
RDSH collectionsSpecifies the collections that are configured on the Microsoft RDS broker. Only the applications or
desktops within the specified collections are shown. If the field is empty, all the applications or desktops are shown.
To access RDSH Collections, go to Admin Policy Tool > Advanced > Broker Settings > Microsoft Remote Desktop
Settings.
