Parameter Description
Beacon Regulate
Enabling this setting
introduces randomness in
the beacon generation so
that multiple APs on the
same channel do not send
beacons at the same time,
which causes collisions
over the air.
Transmit EIRP
Shows the current
transmission power level.
Advertise 802.11d and 802.11h Capabilities
This column reports
whether or not the AP will
advertise its 802.11d
(Country Information) and
802.11h (TPC or Transmit
Power Control)
capabilities
TPC Power
The transmit power
advertised in the TPC IE of
beacons and probe
responses. Range: 0-51
dBm
Spectrum Load Balancing
The Spectrum Load
Balancing feature helps
optimize network
resources by balancing
clients across channels,
regardless of whether the
AP or the controller is
responding to the wireless
clients' probe requests.
If enabled, the controller
compares whether or not
an AP has more clients
than its neighboring APs
on other channels. If an
AP’s client load is at or
over a predetermined
threshold as compared to
its immediate neighbors,
or if a neighboring Dell AP
on another channel does
not have any clients, load
balancing will be enabled
on that AP. This feature is
disabled by default.
Spectrum Load Balancing mode
Spectrum Load Balancing
Mode allows control over
how to balance clients.
