l Absolute Session Timeout: This setting specifies the absolute time after which the WebUI session times
out post a successful authentication.
You can configure these settings from either the controller WebUI or CLI.
In the WebUI
To configure the WebUI session timer using the WebUI, follow the procedure below.
1. Navigate to the Configuration > Management > General page.
2. Under WebUI Session Timer, configure the settings described in Table 179.
Parameter Description
Idle session
timeout
This setting specifies the time of inactivity after which the WebUI session times out and
requires login for continued access.
Default: 900 seconds
Range: 30-3600 seconds
Absolute session
timeout
This setting specifies the absolute time after which the WebUI session times out post a
successful authentication.
Default: Disabled
Range: 30-3600 seconds

In the CLI
To configure the WebUI session timer using the CLI, execute the following commands.
(host) (config) #web-server profile
(host) (Web Server Configuration) #session-timeout 900
(host) (Web Server Configuration) #absolute-session-timeout 300
To view the configuration using the CLI, execute the following command.
(host) #show web-server profile
