Hardware Description
W-AP120 Series W-AP120, W-AP121, W-AP124, and W-AP125 access points are not
supported from ArubaOS 6.5.0.0.
W-600 Series W-620, W-650, and W-650 controllers are not supported from ArubaOS
6.5.0.0.
W-3000 Series W-3200, W-3400, and W-3600 controllers are not supported from
ArubaOS 6.5.0.0.
W-6000M3 and W-6000 W-6000M3 and W-6000 controllers are not supported from ArubaOS
6.5.0.0.

Fundamentals
Configure your controller and AP using either the Web User Interface (WebUI) or the Command Line Interface
(CLI).
WebUI
Each controller supports up to 320 simultaneous WebUI connections. The WebUI is accessible through a
standard Web browser from a remote management console or workstation. The WebUI includes configuration
wizards that walk you through easy-to-follow configuration tasks. The wizards are:
l AP—basic AP configuration
l Controller—basic controller configuration
l Campus WLAN—create and configure new WLAN(s) associated with the default” ap-group
l Remote AP—basic Remote AP configuration
l WIP—define Wireless Intrusion Protection (WIP) policy
l AirWave—controllers running ArubaOS 6.3 and later can use the W-AirWave wizard to quickly and easily
connect the controller to an W-AirWave server.
