Parameter Description
CLI Configuration
l All—Displays both App and WebCC DPI data.
l None—Does not display any AppRFcontent.
URLVisibility Select Enabled or Disabled from the URL visibility
drop-down list.
(Instant AP)(config)
# url-visibility
Cluster security Select Enabled to ensure that the control plane
messages between access points are secured. This
option is disabled by default.
NOTE: The Cluster security setting can be enabled
only if the default NTPserver or a static NTP server
is reachable.

Virtual Controller network
settings
If the VC IP address is in the same subnet as the W-
IAP, ensure that you select Custom from the Virtual
Controller network settings drop-down list and
configure the following details:
l Virtual Controller Netmask—Enter subnet
mask details.
l Virtual Controller Gateway—Enter a gateway
address.
l Virtual Controller DNS—If the DNS IP address
is configured for a master W-IAP, the DNS IP
settings are synchronized for all APs in a W-IAP
cluster.
l If the DNS IP address is configured for a W-
IAP as part of the per W-IAP setting (Edit
Access Point > General), it takes
precedence over the VC DNS IP address
defined in the System > General window.
l
If the W-IAPs are not explicitly assigned a
DNS IP address, the DNS IP address defined
in System > General takes precedence.
l If the DNS IP address is not defined for W-
IAPs or VC, the DNS address dynamically
assigned from the DHCP server is used.
l Virtual Controller VLAN—Ensure that the VLAN
defined for the VC is not the same as the native
VLAN of the W-IAP.
VC VLAN, gateway, and subnet mask details.
