4.4.1.5 Disable an advertising promotion
If you do not want an advertising promotion to provide advertisements, you do
not have to delete it, you can simply disable it. To disable an advertising
promotion:
1. Navigate to the advertising promotions list (Advertising Services »
Promotions).
2. Select the relevant promotion from the list; an action row will be
shown.
3. Click the Disable link; the promotion will be disabled without
further confirmation.
NOTE If you see an Enable link instead of a Disable link, then the
advertising promotion has already been disabled.
4.4.1.6 Enable an advertising promotion
To enable an advertising promotion:
1. Navigate to the advertising promotions list (Advertising Services »
Promotions).
2. Select the relevant promotion from the list; an action row will be
shown.
3. Click the Enable link; the promotion will be enabled without
further confirmation.
NOTE If you see a Disable link instead of an Enable link, then the advertising
promotion has already been enabled.
4.4.1.7 Copy an advertising promotion
If you want to create a new promotion that is similar to one that you already
have, you can simply make a copy. To copy an advertising promotion:
1. Navigate to the advertising promotions list (Advertising Services »
Promotions).
2. Select the relevant promotion from the list; an action row will be
shown.
3. Click the Copy link; the promotion editor will be shown.
4. Review the settings and make any changes as necessary.
5. Click the Create button or the Create and Reload button.
NOTE Details on how to use the promotion editor are given in section 4.4.2 below.
4.4.2 Promotion Editor
A promotion defines rules that determine how and when advertisements are
to be delivered.
