3.4 Uploading and defining advertisements
With your promotions and campaign defined, you can now define your
advertising materials and upload any related images and Flash files.
NOTE It is important to remember that for images, videos and Flash animations to
be delivered, they will need to fit within the size constraints defined by the
advertising spaces (§3.3.6, §4.2.2.2).
To ensure that advertisements will be delivered to the desired spaces, it is
recommended that you ensure that advertisements conform to select sizes.
NOTE You should also keep in mind that mobile devices often have much smaller
screens than desktop and laptop machines.
Consequently, you should ensure that your small images (those typically
shown down the right side of a page) are sized appropriately for a mobile
device. This will ensure that you get the most use possible from your
advertisements.
The advertising materials that will be created in the following sections are
based on the fictional Catwalk Fashion retailer described in the advertising
services deployment example2), and as such, they are provided only as
examples. You may follow these instructions if you wish, or you can simply
read them to gain a greater understanding of the system.
