3.2.3 Creating a personal interests field (checklist)
IMPORTANT This is an example only. You may follow these instructions if you wish to
gather gender demographic information. Otherwise, you can simply read this
section to gain a greater understanding of the system.
To create an interests field for use in a Guest Self-Registration form:
1. Navigate to the customize fields list (Guest Manager »
Customization » Customize Fields).
2. Click the Create tab link; the create field editor will be shown.
3. Enter the Field Name for the custom field: interests
4. Select the Field Type dropdown and choose the String option.
5. Enter the following text into the Description field:
Personal interests of the user.
