ESSID is an alphanumeric
name that uniquely
identifies a wireless
network.
shutdown
Causes a hard shutdown
of the interface.
suppress-arp
Prevents flooding of ARP
broadcasts on all the
untrusted interfaces.
Usage Guidelines
All ports on the controller are assigned to VLAN 1 by default. Use the interface fastethernet |
gigabitethernet command to assign a port to a configured VLAN. Use the show interface vlan and show
user commands to view DHCP option-82 related output.
Example
The following command configures a VLAN interface:
(host) (config) #interface vlan 16
ip address 10.26.1.1 255.255.255.0
ip helper-address 10.4.1.22
