FileSystem List
You can define multiple file system lists and choose which one you want to use for all FileSystem
agents. If an entry in the file system list matches a “discovered” file system, that file system will be
included or excluded for system monitoring.
By default, the FileSystem agent monitors local file systems, however, you can instruct the agent to
monitor remote file systems as well. You can also instruct the agent to monitor specific file systems
on a host.
Note The following file systems are specifically checked for and not monitored regardless of your configuration
settings: hsfs, iso9660, binfmt_misc, usbdevfs, tmpfs, autofs, proc, devpts, and fd. In addition, no read-only
file systems are monitored.
To define the list to use:
1
From the Exclude/Include File Systems list, select the type of list you want to create.
Exclude is the default and indicates that the file systems listed in the FileSystems list should
be excluded from monitoring.
