Agent Properties
Agent Properties
When an agent connects to the vFoglight Management Server, it is provided with sets of properties
that it uses to configure its correct running state. For more information about working with agent
properties, see the vFoglight Administration and Configuration Guide.
The FileSystem agent is shipped with default properties that can be modified to suit your system
requirements. The agent properties described in this section include:
• Collection Rate
• FileSystem Types
• FileSystem List
• Directory List
To modify agent properties:
1 Ensure that the navigation panel on the left is open.
To open the navigation panel, click the right-facing arrow on the left
2 Open the dashboard that lets you navigate to the agent properties by completing one of the
following steps:
• On the navigation panel, under Dashboards, choose Administration > Agents > Agent
Properties.
