Monitored Device List
The monitored device list specifies the devices that the SNMP agent monitors. The vFoglight
Management Server stores the list and makes it available to all the networks on your system. You can
edit and delete entries from the list as well.
Note The SNMP agent must be restarted (or recycled) any time a monitored device is disconnected and
subsequently reconnected to the network. This assures data will continue to be written to the agent tables.
To create monitored device list:
1
From the SNMPv2 Device List, select the list that you want to use. The default is
v2DefaultDeviceList.
2
If you want to clone the list, click Clone. When prompted, enter a name for the cloned list. For
more information on cloning, see the vFoglight Administration and Configuration Guide.
The list is displayed in the right pane.
Continue with the following steps:
a
Select a device list tab.
