• This message might display when you enter inconsistent passwords for root and
then click the Install button on the ESX Server tab of the Program Preferences
dialog.
• If you have not confirmed that a DNS entry exists for the IP address that you plan
to configure through the ESX Server tab on the Program Preferences dialog, this
message will display. See the Troubleshooting section of the Appendix for
instructions on entering DNS information.
• If the Server name or IP field on the Configure SMTP Preferences dialog is blank,
a message will display when you click the Test Server Connection button.
