Email Sending
Options
The options available in this field are:
• use MAPI
• use SMTP
Use the Configure button to access the Configure SMTP
Preferences dialog. From this dialog, you can test the server
connection that you configure. The button becomes enabled when
you select SMTP.
Send Messages on Intermediate Synchronizations: If you select
this checkbox, you will receive email notifications on intermediate
as well as initial and final synchronizations.

If you select SMTP on the Email Notifications tab of the Program Preferences window,
the Configure button is enabled. When you click this button, the Configure SMTP
Preferences dialog displays.
Server Name or
IP
The name of the SMTP server or its IP address.
Server Port
(default is 25)
The port for the SMTP server.
Email Address This is the address to which email notifications about this server
will be sent.
Email Username This is the user to whom email notifications about this server will
be sent.
Email Password This is the password of the user to whom email notifications about
this server will be sent.
Repeat Email This is the password of the user to whom email notifications about
