DUP 信息日志
运行 DUP 命令时将会记录日志。日志记录有关所有更新活动的信息。DUP 写入消息日志。如果在同一系统上多次安装相同的软件包，日志会不断附加。
信息日志
信息日志文件位于以下默认位置：
/var/log/dell/updatepackage/log
packagename.bin: Rebuilding Package Failed - Error creating driver support directory.
（packagename.bin：重建软件包失败 - 创建驱动程序支持目录时出错。）
确保 /tmp 目录有足够的空间。
packagename.bin: Rebuilding Package Failed - Error copying kernel modules.（packagename.bin：重建软

不能在装有 Server Administrator 的系统上重建软

packagename.bin: Rebuilding Package failed - Server Administrator is already installed on the
system.（packagename.bin：重建软件包失败 - Server Administrator 已装在本系统上。）
不能在装有 Server Administrator 的系统上重建软
件包。先从系统卸载 Server Administrator，然后再
使用 --rebuild 选项。
Attempt to update BIOS or firmware to the same version. （尝试对 BIOS 或固件进行相同版本更新。） Update

Inventory operation exceeded specified timeout.（清点资源操作超过了指定的超时值。）

消。

/var/lock directory must exist.（/var/lock 目录必须存在。）
创建该系统目录以确保软件包更新不会同时执行。
Unable to build a device driver for the running kernel because it is not supported on your system.
（无法为正在运行的内核构建设备驱动程序，因为系统不支持。）
选择兼容的 DUP，并重新尝试。
The Intel IMB driver is currently loaded.（当前已载入 Intel IMB 驱动程序。） Please unload the driver
before executing. （请在执行前卸下该驱动程序。）
在安装所选的 DUP 之前应卸下 Intel IMB 驱动程

Warning（警告）: The shell less command is not available.（shell less 命令不可用。） When viewing
Release Notes, press space to continue viewing notes, q to continue DUP processing.（查看发行注释时，
按空格键继续查看注释，按 q 继续 DUP 处理。）
继续查看发行注释，或从操作系统 CD 安装 less 命
令，并以交互方式重新执行软件包。
按 'q' 退出 DUP
(--version)。
按 'q' 继续执行 DUP（dup dup 执行）。
Linux DUP 框架使用 Linux 公用程序，less，显示有
关 DUP 管理的特定固件或驱动程序版本的版本注释。
查看版本注释时，DUP 在执行下面的选项时提示：
--version：Press 'q' to exit DUP（按 'q'
退出 DUP）(--version)
所有其他 DUP 执行：Press 'q' to continue
with DUP execution（按 'q' 继续 DUP 执行）
(dup dup execution)（dup dup 执行）。
Warning（警告）: Screen widths of less than <numeric value> can distort the information view.（小于设
定数值的屏幕宽度会使信息视图扭曲。）
要选择纠正此问题，回答"<No>"（<否>）停止执行
软件包。将终端窗口扩大到所需大小，然后以交互方式
重新执行软件包。
