Known Issues and Resolutions
Issue: OMSA Vendor change with message “this requirement cannot be provided”
Description: When OMSA is newly installed by using, “zypper install srvadmin-all “on an SLES Systems, the
following message is displayed.
“This requirement cannot be provided”. This may require a change of vendor from SUSE to Dell, which is
indicated by the following message:
Choose from the above solutions by number or cancel [1/2/3/c] (c):
Resolution: Select the option in your environment that allows you to install the package with vendor
change. (Usually option 1)
Issue: Device: PERC H810 Adapter Controller 1
Application: PERC H810 Adapter Controller 1 Firmware
The operation failed due to an invalid image file.
SAS-RAID_Firmware_NJPMK_LN_25.2.0.0019_A01 could not be installed
Description: When the system has the primary controller as H730P Adapter and secondary controller as
H810 Adapter and if DSU tries to downgrade PERC H730P Adapter Controller (Version : 25.2.1.0037) to
version 25.2.0.0019, the above mentioned message could be displayed.
Resolution: Ignore this message because PERC H730P Adapter Controller has successfully downgraded
to 25.2.0.0019.
