 For Linux operating systems, during local report collection, if the password has any special characters such as:, #, !,
$, &, (, ), |, ;, “, „, <, and >, prefix the special characters in the password with '\'.
 For Windows 2008 operating systems, the Hotfix Install date is not displayed correctly in the DSET report ->
Software section -> Installed Applications page. (2994)
 On Windows Operating system, if you uninstall DSET during report collection, the installation is deleted from the
system and the report collection is terminated.
 On Linux operating system with LSI U320 scsi controller card and attached LT03 tape drive or PV tape drive, the
information is not available in the DSET report. (4117)
 On Windows operating system, for the report collected using DSET namespace, the SCSI channels are not
enumerated under the storage section. (4085)
 In the DSET report, the hardware logs are not enumerated for the data collected from iDRAC namespace. (3759).
 In the report collected using DSET namespace for any system with Red Hat enterprise Linux 6.2, the Broadcom
BCM57800 1Gb NIC is enumerated as Broadcom BCM57800 1Gb Port 10 GB NIC. (3980)
 In the storage section of the DSET report, the FC LUN information is not displayed in the FCHBA Controller page.
Only controller properties are displayed. (4063)
 In the storage section of the DSET report, the connector type for PERC S300 is displayed as " SAS port Non RAID
Mode " and not " SAS Port RAID Mode ". (4086)
 In the DSET report for M915 Server with ESX4.1U2 operating system, clicking on memory class displays the error
message "Command Unsuccessful". (4128)
 For 12G systems with ESXi operating system, OMSA namespace report is not collecting bios setup data. (4394)
Limitations
 On RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5.0 and 6.0, if SFCB package rpm was installed using "Dell Systems Management
Tools and Documentation DVD" DSET 3.3 report collection fails. Uninstall SFCB, re-install DSET 3.3, and generate
the report.
 On Linux machines if the root user is not configured to use remote network (HTTP or HTTPS service) for
OpenPegasus, hardware and storage information is not collected in the report.
 DSET Collector on Linux cannot collect a remote report through the OMSA namespace.
 On Linux systems, if SFCB is installed using Open Manage Server Administrator DVD and then DSET is installed, DSET
report collection fails. Restart SFCB service on the system and then generate the report.
 Bios -> Bios Setup page will not be available when a normal user under root group attempts to collect Windows to
Linux remote DSET report from OMSA namespace.
 When only DSET Collector is installed, the report is not collected when using Start menu > Create Advanced DSET
Report or Create Basic DSET Report.
 The firmware data collected is less on 9G, 10G, and a few 11G servers since Maser card is not available.
 On ESX 4.1 Operating System, less firmware data is collected. To collect full firmware data, usbarbitrator service
should be stopped.
