Dell supports the x86_64 version of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 on all 9G, 10G, 11G and 12G Dell PowerEdge

systems. To check if your PowerEdge system supports SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10, see the support matrix at

dell.com/ossupport.

NOTE: If you require the x86 version of the operating system, it is recommended that you run it as a virtual machine

on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 x86_64 or an equivalent host. See novell.com/documentation for information on

Operating System Packages Pre-Installed By Dell

Dell has pre-installed a set of operating system packages on your system that provide the features required by system

users. If you require additional functionality not provided by the pre-installed packages, install the additional packages

from the SUSE Linux Enterprise installation media or through SUSE Linux Enterprise network.
