Fixed issues
The following issues are fixed in this release:
2498: The SupportAssist deployment package downloaded from TechDirect was detected as harmful by Microsoft Defender.
3234: On the SupportAssist user interface, in the Remove Viruses & Malware tile, the View option was displayed instead of
the Run option even when no virus or malware is detected.
1890 and 1486: While deploying SupportAssist for business PCs using deployment tools such as SCCM, an error message
was displayed stating that the latest version of the application was already installed.
1073: When you initiated a Drivers & Downloads update, SupportAssist displayed No Updates Found even if there were
recommendations to install the drivers and downloads updates.
1018: If you canceled the SupportAssist uninstallation process while it was in progress, the Dell SupportAssist for business
PCs service would not start automatically.
1844: SupportAssist for business PCs installation failed when the Dell Data Vault component was unable to install its drivers.
Limitations
SupportAssist is not supported on virtual machines.
SupportAssist does not automatically perform diagnostic tests on components that require user intervention.
SupportAssist does not support Transport Layer Security (TLS) versions1.0 and 1.1.
If Full Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Inspection is enabled in system context mode, SupportAssist may not work as expected.
