Device Credentials
The Device Credentials page enables you to provide the credentials required to connect and identify the device.
The following table describes the fields displayed in the Device Credentials page.
Table 30. Device Credentials
Field Description
Username The username of a user account that has administrative or
elevated privileges on the device.
Password The password of a user account that has administrative or
elevated privileges on the device.
Enable Password The enable password configured on the device.
Community String The community string configured on the device.
NOTE: The Enable Password and Community String are applicable only for Dell Networking devices.
NOTE: The Community String is also applicable for Dell EqualLogic storage arrays.
NOTE: Device credentials are not required for adding Dell PowerVault devices. Therefore, the Device Credentials page is
not displayed when you add a PowerVault device.
Assign Device Group (Optional)
The Assign Device Group (Optional) page enables you to assign the device to a custom device group.
The following table describes the fields display in the Assign Device Group (Optional) page.

Name The name you have provided for the device.
