Installing SupportAssist Enterprise
About this task
You can install SupportAssist Enterprise on a server running a supported Windows or Linux operating system. The following
sections provide the instructions to install SupportAssist Enterprise on Windows and Linux operating systems.
NOTE:
For SupportAssist Enterprise installation on Linux operating systems only: When SupportAssist Enterprise
is installed on a server running a Linux operating system, SupportAssist Enterprise can monitor the local system, remote
servers running a supported Linux operating system, and other device types. Monitoring remote servers running any other
operating system is only possible if you add the iDRAC of the server in SupportAssist Enterprise. For information on adding
the iDRAC of a server, see Adding an iDRAC.
Installing SupportAssist Enterprise (Windows)
Prerequisites
Download the SupportAssist Enterprise installation package for Windows operating systems. See Downloading the
SupportAssist Enterprise installation package.
Log in to the system with administrator privileges.
The system must meet the requirements for installing SupportAssist Enterprise. See Minimum requirements for installing and
using SupportAssist Enterprise.
