Collection Schedules
The Collection Schedules page enables you to schedule the collection of system information from your devices.
At the top of the Collection Schedules page, the navigation trail is displayed. You can click Home on the navigation trail to go
to the Devices page.
The following table provides information about the fields displayed in the Collection Schedules page.
NOTE: The options in the Collection Schedules page are only enabled if the On a regular schedule as specified in
Collection Schedules option is selected in the Preferences page.
NOTE: If your devices are covered under the ProSupport Plus, ProSupport Flex for Data Center, or ProSupport One for
Data Center service contract, when the On a regular schedule as specified in Collection Schedules option is not
selected, you will not receive some reporting information about your devices.

Field Description
Device Type The available device type are:
● Chassis
● Fluid File System (FluidFS)
● iDRAC
● Networking
● Peer Storage (PS) / EqualLogic
● PowerVault
● Server / Hypervisor
● Storage Center (SC) / Compellent
Recurs every
Allows you to select the frequency of at which system information will be collected. The
available options are:
● None
● Week
● Month
Specify day and time Allows you to select the day and time when the system information will be collected.
● If you select None, the periodic collection of system information is disabled for the
selected Device Type.
● If you select Weekly, the available options are:
○ Weeks (1 or 2)
○ Day of the week (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and
Saturday)
○ Hour (in hh:mm format)
● If you select Monthly, the available options are:
○
Week of the month (First, Second, Third, Fourth, and Last)
○ Day of the week (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and
Saturday)
○ Hour (in hh:mm format)
○ Months (1 or 3)
Next collection date Displays the date and time at which the system information will be collected next.
