Fixes
Dell EMC SupportAssist Enterprise version 1.2.1 contains a fix for an undocumented default account vulnerability present on the
Windows management server running SupportAssist Enterprise version 1.1 or after upgrade from SupportAssist Enterprise
version 1.1 to 1.2.
SupportAssist Enterprise version 1.1 creates a local Windows user account named “OMEAdapterUser” with a default password
as part of the installation process.
NOTE:
If SupportAssist Enterprise version 1.1 is installed or SupportAssist Enterprise is upgraded from version 1.1 to version
1.2 on the server running OpenManage Essentials (OME), the OmeAdapterUser user account is added as a member of the
OmeAdministrators group for OME.
Known issues
Issue 1
Description: When SupportAssist Enterprise is installed on a virtual machine of an ESXi host, the SupportAssist Enterprise
services do not start automatically in the following scenario:
- The ESXi host is forced to shut down
- Time synchronization between the virtual machine and the ESXi host is not configured. [SAE-6153]
Resolution: Perform one of the following:
- Repair the SupportAssist Enterprise installation through the Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs option.
- Configure time synchronization between the virtual machine and the ESXi host.
Issue 2
Description: If the server is restarted after installing SupportAssist Enterprise on a Linux operating system, the snmptrapd
