The Confirm Device Deletion window is displayed.
4. Click Yes.
The device is deleted from the Devices page.
NOTE:
When a device is deleted, the credentials of the device are deleted immediately from SupportAssist Enterprise.
However, the system information collected from the device is not deleted until the purge collections task deletes the
collected system information. The purge collection task only deletes system information collections that are 30 days or
older and collections that are older than the last 5 collections over the last 30 days.
Opting in or opting out from ProSupport Plus
recommendation report emails
Prerequisites
You must be logged in to SupportAssist Enterprise with elevated or administrative privileges. See SupportAssist Enterprise
user groups and Granting elevated or administrative privileges to users.
You must have completed the registration of SupportAssist.
The local system must have internet connectivity for uploading the collected system information to Dell.
About this task
The ProSupport Plus recommendation reports provide an overall health assessment of your devices by comparing the BIOS,
firmware, and selected device drivers with the Dell recommended versions. SupportAssist Enterprise provides you an option to
either opt in or opt out from receiving Dell ProSupport Plus recommendation reports through email. When you opt in to receive
the ProSupport Plus recommendation reports through email, you will receive the report once every month.
NOTE:
The ProSupport Plus recommendation reports are applicable only for devices with an active ProSupport Plus,
ProSupport Flex for Data Center, or ProSupport One for Data Center service contract.
NOTE: The recommendation reports are dependent on the system information that is collected and sent to Dell periodically.
Therefore, you must ensure that the periodic collection of system information is enabled in SupportAssist Enterprise. For
