Field Description
User Name The user name required to connect to the server that hosts
the Remote Console.
Password The password required to connect to the server that hosts
the Remote Console.
Credential Profile Use to select a Credential Profile that is required to add the
devices that are inventoried by the adapter.
Update device inventory Use to select the frequency at which the adapter must
inventory devices from the adapter. The available options are:
● Every 12 hours
● Daily
● Weekly
● Every two weeks
● Monthly

Set Up OpenManage Enterprise adapter
The Set Up Adapter window allows you to add an adapter. The following table provides information about the items displayed
in the Set Up Adapter window.

Field Description
Adapter type Use to select the type of adapter that you want to set up. The
available adapter types are:
● OpenManage Essentials — Select to set up the Open
Manage Essentials adapter.
● System Center Operations Manager — Select to set
up the System Center Operations Manager adapter.
● OpenManage Enterprise — Select to set up the
OpenManage Enterprise – Tech Release adapter.
Host name / IP address The host name or IP address of the server where
OpenManage Enterprise – Tech Release is installed.
Name (Optional) An optional name that you want to use for identifying the
adapter in SupportAssist Enterprise.

OpenManage Enterprise – Tech Release is installed.
Password The password required to connect to the server where
OpenManage Enterprise – Tech Release is installed.
