Table Of Contents
1. Ensure that WinSCP is installed on the local Windows system (Dell technical support) and that the remote system is booted
to Support Live Image.
2. Launch WinSCP on the local system.
The WinSCP Login dialog box is displayed.
3. In the Host name box, type the ip address of the remote system.
4. In the User name field, type root.
5. In the Password field, type dell.
6. Click Login.
The WinSCP window is displayed with the directory structure of the local and remote systems. You can securely drag the
files between the local and remote system.
Useful commands
This section provides the Linux commands you can use to start, stop, or restart the OMSA and network service. At the terminal
command prompt, type the commands listed in the following tables to perform the required functions.
NOTE: You can run these commands using the root privileges.

srvadmin-services.sh start
Start the OMSA service.
srvadmin-services.sh stop
Stop the OMSA service.
srvadmin-services.sh restart
Restart the OMSA service.

Status of the OMSA service.
