Replacing the Microphone

Removing the Microphone

1. Follow the instructions in Before You Begin.

2. Follow the instructions in Removing the Palm Rest.

3. Disconnect the microphone cable from the system board connector.

4. Remove the microphone from the computer base.
Replacing the Microphone

1. Place the microphone in the slot in the computer base.

2. Connect the microphone cable to the connector on the system board.

3. Follow the instructions in Replacing the Palm Rest.

4. Reinstall the memory modules and Mini-Cards, if any.

5. Reinstall the ExpressCards in the ExpressCard slot, if any.
