5.3.5 Number of volumes studies
The primary objective of these tests was to determine the PS Series volume configuration which produces
optimal performance for the Oracle OLTP-type of workload.
These tests were run with 8K I/O block size to determine the maximum IOPS the storage array would sustain
within the 20 ms latency (read and write latencies measured separately).
