Users Guide

• Recommended (All Tiers) – Select this option for most volumes. The Recommended profile allows
the system to automatically progress data between and across all storage tiers based on data type and
usage.
• High Priority (Tier 1) – Select this option to force volume data to remain in tier 1 storage.
• Medium Priority (Tier 2) – Select this option to force volume data to remain in tier 2 storage.
• Low Priority (Tier 3) – Select this option to force volume data to remain in tier 3 storage.
• Custom – If available, select a custom storage profile that is appropriate to the volume data.
Template Selection
Use the Template Selection page to select a virtual machine template on which to base a new virtual
machine.
• Select Virtual Machine template – Select a VM template from the drop-down list of available
templates.
• Details – Displays details about the currently selected VM template.
