Supported controllers

The following controllers are supported with the Dell EMC Storage MD1400/1420 enclosures:

• Dell EMC PERC H840 (for Dell EMC PowerEdge 14th generation servers)

• Dell 12 Gbps SAS HBA (for Dell EMC PowerEdge 14th generation servers)

• Dell EMC PERC H830 (for Dell EMC PowerEdge 13th generation servers)

• Dell EMC 12 Gbps SAS HBA (for Dell EMC PowerEdge 13th generation servers)

• Supported controller drivers and firmware can be downloaded from the Dell EMC support website: Dell.com/support

• To determine if the preceding controllers are supported for specific host servers, go to the Dell EMC PowerEdge RAID Controller
