After you re-install the network adapter driver, follow the steps below to
reconnect the virtual switch to the external network:

Select the virtual network in the Virtual Network Manager .
2 Change the connection type to External.
3 Select a valid physical network adapter or the physical network adapter
that was previously connected to the virtual network.
