• Modifying the adapter metric values to ensure that the dedicated physical
network adapter is the preferred route.
• Disabling auto-negotiate, and setting port duplex and speed.
• Modifying DNS resolution and the NetBIOS setting to ensure proper
name registration.
• Creating a static DNS entry for secondary network adapter of parent
partition (optional).
• Disabling any unused network adapters.
