generate support-bundle

Generates an sosreport tar file that collects configuration and diagnostic information on Linux systems.

Syntax

generate support-bundle [enable-all-plugin-options | disable-all-plugin-

options] [scp://userid:passwd@hostip/directory-path]

Parameters

● enable-all-plugin-options—(Optional) Generate a full support bundle with all plug-in options

enabled.

● disable-all-plugin-options—(Optional) Generate a full support bundle with all plug-in

options disabled.

● scp://userid:passwd@hostip/directory-path—(Optional) Generate a full support bundle

and copy the generated sosreport and MD5 files as a tar file to the specified remote server

through SCP. The IPv6 hostip address must be specified within square braces.

To send the tar file to Dell EMC Technical Support, use the dir supportbundle

and copy supportbundle://sosreport-OS10-file-number.tar.gz tftp://server-
