Set the time interval to a number large enough to avoid unnecessary retransmission. The no version of
this command resets the value to the default.

Sets the estimated time required to send a link state update packet on the interface.
Syntax
ip ospf transmit-delay seconds
Parameters seconds Set the time in seconds required to send a link-state update, from 1 to 3600.
Default 1 second

When you set the ip ospf transmit-delay value, take into account the transmission and
propagation delays for the interface. The no version of this command resets the value to the default.
