In the
Getting Started
section, click
Download Inventory Catalog.
The
Dell Inventory Collector Import
page is displayed.
Inventory
Collector
is used to collect the hardware information such as BIOS,
firmware, and driver versions of components installed on your managed
systems. You must download the .cab files that contain the inventory
collector tool from the SolutionSam website.

Select the
Web URL
option.

In the Windows and Linux fields, specify the following
default locations:

Click
Save changes.
NOTE: You can schedule to run the inventory collector tool import process at
a time convenient to you.

In the
Getting Started
section, click
Solution Global Settings.
The
Dell Vendor Configuration
page is displayed. Here, you can specify
the DUP packages download location.

Select the
General
tab.

Select the
Verify authenticity of downloaded Dell Packages
option.

In the
Local storage
field under the
DUPs Download Location
section, enter the location of the SUU repository from where to
download the DUPs. For example, enter
<%
systemdrive
%>:
\SUU\repository.

In the
To Location
field under the
DUPs Download Location
section,
enter
C:\Program Files\Altiris\PatchManagementDell\Downloads
.
This is the path where the DUPs must be stored.

Apply.
