• When you run Dell SAS 6gpbs fimrware dup (YJ78T) on RHEL 5.9 x64 bit operating system,
the update fails though the logs show as successful(BITS076045)
Eg: The device version shows as 07.03.05.00 instead of 07.03.06.00
• On SLES Operating System, when you run suu with -u option and simultaneously run suu -p
in another console,
• For PERC 6E/I firmwares, if the current installed version and the repository version
differ only by '.' and '-', SUU displays them as applicable. Please ignore.
For example, current version (6.3.3.0002) and the repository version (6.3.3-0002) mean
they are having the same versions (BITS074926)
• On RHEL 6.4 Operating System, when you run the PERC H310 mini controller
firmware(SWB:VC87X), the update fails (BITS068417)
• On systems running Microsoft Windows 2012 operating system, the Broadcom 32-bit NIC
firmware DUP with part number 85NMY fails (BITS067355)
• When you run the SATA Hard disk update on Windows 2012 Standard OS with 16GB
configuration, it fails (BITS053783)
• When you run the Hard disk update (52P2Y) on Windows 2012 Operating System,
it fails (BITS054325)
Please refer the PSQN ID , ID:596787: Device Buffer error when running
hard drive SATA DUP under Windows Server 2012 for BITS053783 and BITS054325.
• When you run the Hard disk update with part 9KJ12, it throws error messages,
however this does not impact the updates. Updates happen successfully. (BITS063167)
• Intel NIC will be inventoried on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 update 9
and 6 update 4 OS though it is not supported (BITS070174)
• SAS hard disk drive ST973452SS firmware dup update fails on SUSE Linux
Enterprise Server 11 SP2 (BITS042723)
• 64bit inventory collector will not be able to do the inventory to the
SAS/SATA Backplane and SAS 6Gbps controller card on VMware, ESXi 4.1

with following error message "Update Package not compatible with your

• PET420 iDRAC IP address drops when SUU inventory reaches 58% on Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 5 update 8 x64 (BITS027415)
• PowerEdge T620 BIOS 64bit DUP(9371G) update fails on true x64 WIN 2K8 R2

• Power Edge R520 doesn't have the firmware support for H310 Adaptor (BITS053313)
• H710p Firmware MJY37 DUP update shows mismatch version, due to difference in

• If your CERC ATA RAID controllers are configured with the H661
firmware, SUU cannot update the firmware to the latest version.
