SUU supports the following Dell PowerVault systems running the supported Windows operating system:

NX1950,DP500/ NF500, NX300,DL2000,DP100/ NF100,DP600/NF600,NX3000,DL2100,NX3100,DL2200,

NX3500,NX200, NX400, NX3200 and NX3300.

SUU supports the following EqualLogic systems running the supported Linux and Windows operating

system:

DX6004S, DX6012S, DX6000G, FS7500, DX6000

Important Notes

DUPs for Dell Lifecycle Controller OS Driver packs are no longer available on the Dell OpenManage

Server Update ISO. You can find them on Dell Lifecycle Controller OS Driver Packs ISO.

The below information helps enhance your experience with SUU in specific implementations and

environments.

• SUU supports Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC) Service Module 2.2.

NOTE: iDRAC Service Module is supported on all Dell’s 12th and 13

generation of PowerEdge

servers (64-bit operating system) with iDRAC version later than 2.10.10.10.

• If you launch SUU from a command shell and then press <Ctrl><C>, the SUU procedure, as well

as any running updates, will terminate.(137862)

• When you launch SUU, depending on the system configuration the inventory collection process

takes few minutes , delaying the display of system comparison report.(138439)

• The figures and examples in the "Dell OpenManage Server Update Utility User's Guide" are used

as examples only and may not be identical to the SUU GUI.(137294,136624)

• When you verify the SUU return codes, use the operating system-specific commands to view the

exit codes.(137296)

Known Issues and Resolutions

• Storage Controller Firmware update for 10G and 11G will fail on Linux operating systems with

OMSA v8.2 installed(BITS247650).

• Power Supply firmware(GPWR2) update is failing on SLES 12 and RHEL 7.1 operating system

(BITS247769).

• VRTX M520 is displayed as M520 in SUU Comparison report.

• VRTX M620 is displayed as M620 in SUU Comparison report.

• The BIOS package is not available for T105 platform. (BITS089778)

• Intel firmware and driver are not supported on FM120 platform.

• OS Collector for Windows is not available in this ISO, it is available on Dell’s 12th and 13th

generation of PowerEdge servers 32-bit ISO. (BITS228497 & BITS228508)
