Release Notes
Dell Server PRO Management Pack does not provide multiple alerts on sensors (inclusive of current,
voltage, fan, and temperature). This means that there is only one sensor event reported for any sensor
state transition on a given system. After you have cleared the alert, any subsequent alert is reported.
Dell Server PRO Management Pack has a default discovery cycle of 24 hours. You can override the
discovery cycle time.
The "Management Station Action Account" needs Administrator privileges to discover systems and
PowerShell execution.
After a system is discovered, if you uninstall Dell OpenManage Server Administrator or Dell OpenManage
Server Administrator services are stopped, the health of the Dell PRO Pack discovered system will
display as "healthy." However, no alert and PRO Tip is displayed in Operations Manager and SCVMM,
respectively.
In Dell Server PRO Management Pack, all Unit Monitors are disabled by default. However, to monitor
the health of Dell PRO monitored servers, you must enable the Unit Monitors. For more information,
see the “Planning The Environment For PRO Tips” section in the “Dell Server PRO Management Pack 3.0
for Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager Installation Guide” or the "Dell Server PRO
Management Pack 3.0 For Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager User's Guide."
