Dell Server PRO Management Pack has a default discovery cycle of 24 hours. You can override the
discovery cycle time.
The "Management Station Action Account" needs Administrator privileges to discover systems and
PowerShell execution.
After a system is discovered, if you uninstall OpenManage Server Administrator or OpenManage
Server Administrator services are stopped, the health of the Dell PRO Pack discovered system will
display as "healthy." However, no alert and PRO Tip is displayed in SCOM/SCE and SCVMM,
respectively.
All Unit Monitors are disabled by default in Dell Server PRO Management Pack.
Dell Server PRO Management Pack supports upgrade from 2.0 to 2.1 release. Any settings that you
override for Dell Server PRO Management Pack 2.0 is carried forward to Dell Server PRO
Management Pack 2.1.
You can override any of the recovery actions:
o You can override the remedial action of restricting server from hosting new virtual machines
when migrating virtual machines.
o You can override the remedial action of migrating virtual machines when restricting server
from hosting new virtual machines.

Issue 1: When you choose to implement multiple PRO Tips during an alert storm, some of the PRO Tips may end up in a
failed state.
Issue 2: PRO Tips are generated, even after PRO is disabled in SCVMM.
