Getting Started With Dell PROPack
Minimum Requirements
To implement the Dell PROPack, you must ensure that the following
minimum execution environment exists:
• Management Station running:
• System Center Operations Management (SCOM) 2007 SP1/ System
Center Essentials (SCE) 2007 SP1 installed on a supported hardware
and operating system.
• System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) 2008 installed on
a supported hardware and operating system.
• Managed System running:
• Microsoft Hyper-V hosts on any Dell PowerEdge systems ranging from
x8xx to xx1x (both inclusive).
• Dell OpenManage Server Administrator version 5.3 to 5.5 on x8xx to
xx0x systems and Dell OpenManage Server Administrator version
6.0.1/6.0.2 on xx1x systems. You can download the latest version of
Dell OpenManage Server Administrator from the Dell Support
website at
support.dell.com .
